Teaching With Change

The video we watched help me to recognize how drastic the technological shift really is. All across the world nations are progressing further and further away from print literacy. However, I also feel that the United States needs to kick it in gear as China is quickly surpassing us, at least educationally. That is where teacher's come in. As educators, we need to prepare the children of America to participate in a competitive, digital society and world, and monitor and guide this growth. Change is overwhelming, and often a scary thing, especially when it is happening all around us. However, as human beings we have to learn to adapt to the ever changing environment around us, and as educators we must teach our children to adapt.
